We’ve Got Your Six is focused on sharing stories, providing support and resources for New Hampshire Veterans.
 
With close to 93,000 self-reported Veterans residing in the state of New Hampshire this represents a robust population reflecting close to 7% of the total state population. (2022 World Population Review) Each week the conversation will focusing on stories like; a Veteran experience, a Veteran resource, an in-depth look at a resource to help a Veteran and/or their family and how to navigate attaining the benefit, or a Veteran resilience story spotlighting Veterans post active-duty experiences. We will also share upcoming events that have significant military presence or appeal.

Episodes are hosted by Phil Taub, Scott Spradling, Ginger Munson and Matt Foster.

March 2024 Episodes

This week Scott Spradling and Matt Foster talk with Liberty House Operations Manager Ashley Kitchel on how Liberty began and the programs they offer vets. In the Second segment Scott and Matt hear from Patrick, a Liberty House Veteran who’s giving back and in our last segment Ashely is joined by Stephanie Murphy, Liberty House’s Event Coordinator on the group’s upcoming “Roaring 20’s Event.”

Listen in as Ginger and Scott sit down with Army veteran Travis Mills, one of five surviving quadruple amputees. His life is inspiring, and his humor infectious. We finish the hour with SFC (Ret) Rodney Anderson after 33 years of service he started Rotors to Reels.

February 2024 Episodes

Ginger Munson talks with Lucie Amaro Chmura, Ambassador of the Art for Vets Program at the Currier Museum of Art about the transformative power of art and how it’s helped change the lives of Veterans. Ginger also catches up with Sean Kilbreth, a 26-year law enforcement officer, and reflect on his role as a Camp Resilience peer volunteer.

This week Ginger Munson chats with Elliot and BJ Perry about what they’re doing to help Veterans in the Granite State. In our second segment Ginger sits down with Lieutenant Colonel Ana T. McKenna to talk about her time as Program Director for the Care Coordination Program of New Hampshire. And in our last segment Ginger hears from Blue Star Mon. Karen Thurston.

This week Ginger sits down with retired Air Force Veteran Anthony Negron his wife, Katiuscia and Matt Morrissey from Fusion cell to talk about the Air Force, and AF Special Operations, military marriages and Pararescue Foundation and Fusion Cell. 

This week Phil Taub and Matt Foster talk with retired Navy Seals Mark Lampman and Ed Thelander about their service and how it’s impacted their lives in the civilian world.

This week, Scott and Ginger connect with Shawn Buck, a dedicated Army veteran who continues to give back to his community through his work as the Director of the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery. With a rich career as a Field Artillery Officer Shawn also talks about how his daughter is continuing the family legacy through her West Point graduation and current service.

This week Ginger Munson goes solo and talks with an eclectic mix of service providers making a difference for those in need. This week’s episode features a conversation with, Vets Count clinical director, Steph Higgs – who provides important counseling and mental health support; Margo Lapoint, an adult child of Vietnam Era Special Forces soldier who’s creating a special program just for Children of American Heroes. And in our last segment we hear from MSG Grassie and a great opportunity to help our local military families this Christmas.

As we wrap up 2023, the team at We’ve Got Your Six wanted to share their favorite episode of the past year featuring Warren Perry, Deputy Adjutant General at the State of New Hampshire’s Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services, Pete Burdett, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army and Kevin Forrest, Director of the VA Medical Center in Manchester.

Ginger Munson and Matt Foster sit down with a Gold Star Sister Stephanie Ouellette who shines some light on just what Gold Star Families do. And in the second half of this week’s episode they talk with Navy Seal Wayne Siegmond, who shares what it’s like to be a human tadpole.

Phil Taub talks with former Navy Seal Hector Delgado and his wife Michelle about the type of shift their family dynamic went through when your spouse is a Seal. And Phil also sits down with Master Chief Rick Kaiser about his time with the Seals, receiving the Silver Star Medal for Valor during the Battle of Mogadishu and his new book “Frogman Stories: Life and Leadership Lessons from the SEAL Teams.”
