Millennium Running has chosen Swim With A Mission as the Official Charity Partner of the Elliot Manchester City Marathon not because they have to, but because they choose to support a mission that directly serves Veterans across New England.

This partnership allows runners to turn an already meaningful race into something even greater: a chance to give back while they run.

Run for Something Bigger Than the Finish Line

Swim With A Mission is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Veterans and reducing Veteran suicide through direct funding of high-impact organizations across the country.

Since its founding, SWAM has raised over $13.6 million to support Veterans through:

  • Service dogs and companion animal programs

  • Mental health and crisis intervention services

  • Housing and financial assistance

  • Scholarships and reintegration support

Every dollar raised goes directly to organizations that change and save Veteran lives.

Last year, runners participating in this event helped raise over $25,000 for SWAM-supported Veteran programs.

SWAM TO REMEMBER

To honor and remember the 96 New Hampshire soldiers who have died in service to our country since 2001 in the Global War on Terror, we will be sending everyone who registers for the run a bracelet to wear while training and competing in the event. Each bracelet will have the name, branch, rank and the date each service member made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. You can see all of these service members listed on our Honor Wall and learn more about the lives of each fallen hero.
