Support New Hampshire's Veterans and the organizations serving them
On November 10, Mission 4 Veterans brings New Hampshire together for a one-day statewide radio fundraiser. All money raised through Mission 4 Veterans goes to support veterans in New Hampshire.
SWAM has backed Veteran organizations since 2017.
It raises money to strengthen the organizations that serve, support and honor our veterans and their families.
SWAM works with more than 75 Veteran service organizations.
State, federal and community partners work alongside them, so your gift reaches groups already doing the work.
At $25 a month you join Team SWAM.
Members get early an official SWAM membership card, an exclusive SWAM challenge coin, 10% off SWAM gear, and an annual membership appreciation gift.
How SWAM brings New Hampshire's Veteran network together
Supporting veterans takes collaboration. SWAM connects the people and organizations serving veterans so they can meet needs across New Hampshire together.
All year
SWAM works closely with more than 75 Veteran service organizations across New Hampshire, along with state, federal and community partners.
The VSO Summit
Organizations, government leaders and community partners meet to share information, discuss the challenges facing New Hampshire Veterans and find ways to work together. The 6th annual Summit in Portsmouth drew more than 60 of them.
Every month
Your gift comes in, so the committee knows how much it can count on when it divides the money.
Grant season
Veteran organizations apply between July 1 and September 30. SWAM's Grant Committee weighs need, capacity and impact on veterans, then announces grants in the fall.
What SWAM funding helps support
SWAM funds organizations already doing critical work for Veterans across New Hampshire.
Why a monthly gift does more
The same total over a year reaches veterans more reliably when it arrives a little at a time.
SWAM can plan around it.
Monthly gifts give SWAM steady money to grant, so it can commit to the organizations that apply each year.
Programs can plan too.
Retreats, shelter beds and service dog training are scheduled months ahead. Predictable support makes that easier.
A monthly gift is easy to keep up.
A small amount each month fits a budget that a single large gift may not, and you can change or cancel it any time.
What SWAM grants have done for Veterans
The organizations your gift supports provide shelter, retreats, scholarships and service dogs.
The organizations your gift supports
One monthly gift reaches Veterans through many organizations
SWAM grants money to veteran service organizations that provide service dogs, housing, retreats and mental health care. A grant committee reviews every application for need, capacity and impact, so your gift goes where it can help most.

Questions about giving

Veteran service organizations apply for a SWAM grant each year between July 1 and September 30. SWAM's Grant Committee reviews every application for mission alignment, demonstrated need, organizational capacity and potential impact on the veteran community, and recipients are announced in the fall.
SWAM also hosts an annual VSO Summit that brings veteran organizations, the VA and local leaders into one room to find gaps in care. The current focus is mental health and reducing veteran suicide. SWAM funds retreats that bring veterans together and as many service dogs as it can. See the 2025 grant recipients.
